The big makeover
- Date 14 September 2015
We were very pleased to help the Genesis Trust give their old vans a new lease of life through the design for new vehicle signage. The new branding needed to be applied and the vans needed some TLC after years of good service collecting donated household goods from around Bath. So the Trust gathered a team to design new graphics, respray the fleet and apply the signage.
Caroline Curran Design provided the vibrant new look for the Genesis Trust’s vans and local companies Bath Signs and Bristol Car and Commercial ensured the charity’s colours and logos were accurately applied to the vehicle graphics and respray.
The Trust hopes the striking new look will help raise the profile of their project which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Based in Oldfield Park, the Furniture Project provides good quality furniture, appliances and household goods at affordable prices to people on low income or benefits. Collections of donated items are free so please support this great cause if you have unwanted household items. They hope the new look will attract a lot of interest as the vans drive around the city and put Genesis very firmly on the map!
For more than 20 years, the Genesis Trust has worked to alleviate poverty and hardship within Bath, through projects that support local people with food, furniture, purposeful activity and one-to-one support and guidance.
